Employee State Insurance (ESI) is a scheme made by the Central Government to facilitate employees with the benefits of medical, monetary, and other. This Scheme is controlled by the Ministry of Labour and Employment. 
The company/Organization has more than 10 employees and the salary of the employee is upto 21,000 Rupees which includes basic salary, Dearness allowances, and Insurance.
ESI return is filled every month. The due date for payment is the 15th day of the next month.
Example: - If we are filling for the month of March 2023 then the payment date for March will be 15th April 2023.
